ReadSoft named "IT-Company of the year 2001" The Swedish magazine Veckans Affärer has today honored the Software Company ReadSoft with the prestigious award, "IT-Company of the Year 2001". The award was announced at Veckans Affärers annual presentation of the business analysis, "IT 500" in Stockholm. The jury's motivation states that "ReadSoft serves as a model to the Swedish IT-industry". ReadSoft's ability to establish new business abroad and develop software for which there is a great demand, contributed to the fact that Veckans Affärer chose to award ReadSoft the title "IT-Company of the year 2001." Co-founder and MD Jan Andersson was notably moved by the situation when receiving the award from chief editor Weje Sandén after 10 years with his life-time achievement. "Many years of hard work lies behind the fact that the company and all of our staff are now awarded this title.
