Sony of Canada Ltd. chooses ReadSoft to automate Accounts Payable processes
SAP user Sony of Canada, the leading consumer electronics manufacturer in the world, has selected ReadSoft for Document Automation of their Accounts Payable (A/P) processes. ReadSoft is rapidly deploying the solution in Toronto, Ontario in Canada to work within the existing SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
“After an overall analysis, we selected ReadSoft as our vendor of choice for two main reasons,” said Wayne Ground, Sony of Canada’s Chief Information Officer. “ReadSoft’s SAP certification and their completeness of demos made it apparent whose product fit best at Sony of Canada.”
As Sony of Canada serves a bellwether for other Sony locations, they are constantly looking for performance enhancements and process improvements. Sony of Canada put together a project for business process improvements within the A/P department in the third quarter of 2005. While learning about the ReadSoft product offering and its developments over time at various US conferences, the vendor selection decision was made shortly thereafter the project was put in place.
