Welkins Intressenter increase its holding in Realia and extend the application period

Press release Welkins Intressenter increase its holding in Realia (formerly Columna Fastigheter) and extend the application period. * Welkins Intressenter AB ("Welkins") has increased its holding in Realia to 81.7 per cent of the shares after acquisition from more than 2200 shareholders of additional 414.818 shares during the extended acceptance period. Welkins holding thereafter amounts to 19,466,220 shares in Realia. Payment for the shares will be received on September 5, 2003. * Welkins offer is extended through October 10, 2003. Payment is expected to be received on October 16, 2003. * The offer from Welkins is SEK 38 per share in Realia. No brokerage fee is charged. If Welkins during the acceptance period reaches an acceptance level of more than 90 per cent of the shares in Realia, an additional SEK 2 will be paid per share, thus in total SEK 40 per share. The amount will also be paid to shareholders who already accepted the offer and received payment of SEK 38 per share. * Welkins reserves the right to purchase shares in the market. * Welkins aim is to increase its holding in order to reach above 90 per cent of the shares. Realia also have a lot of shareholders with smaller holdings. These shareholders can by accepting the offer divest the shares in Realia without paying any brokerage fee.
