Dummies need smart names in TyreSafe competition
TyreSafe, the UK’s leading tyre safety organisation, is calling for the public to enter its online competition and be in with a chance to win £50 of iTunes vouchers by taking part in the name game. That’s because it has just ‘adopted’ a family of four new animated crash test dummies, which will be used to help promote tyre safety. The family will give drivers a host of tyre safety tips, information and advice, but as yet they don’t have names. However, TyreSafe wants your help in suggesting names for the family and the winning entry will receive £50 in iTunes vouchers. Stuart Jackson, chairman, TyreSafe, explains: “Our dummies, which will feature in a range of online movies, posters and leaflets, are smarter than you might think as they will play an important part in helping reduce the number of tyre related accidents on our roads. “This competition will be a great way of bringing them to life and help to educate even more drivers about the importance of looking after their tyres properly. We’ve already had some fun thinking of some possible names ourselves and we cannot wait for the entries to start coming in. I’m sure that there will be some very clever ones.” To enter the competition, simply log onto the TyreSafe website, www.tyresafe.org/thenamegame, to give the family of four crash test dummies individual first names, along with a family name. Full terms and conditions of the competition can also be found on the website. Entries must be submitted before 5pm on 31st March and the winning entry will be notified by email within seven days.
