Greater support for wheel alignment customers

Despite the tough economic conditions recently experienced by the automotive industry, Pro-Align, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of advanced wheel alignment equipment, has created four new roles within its sales team in order to cope with an increased level of demand. The appointments include three new field-based sales executives and one further addition to the company’s headquarters support team. “Advanced wheel alignment systems are being increasingly recognised by the trade as an excellent source of revenue and new business,” explains Paul Beaurain, managing director, Pro-Align. “The excellent levels of return make them an attractive investment option, which has been particularly important in recent times as workshops look to maximise their income. By creating these four new positions we will be able to continue to provide our new and existing customers with the very highest levels of service and attention.” New sales executive covering East Anglia and North London is qualified motor technician and former fleet sales manager Steve Swettenham. “With such a great reputation and impressive range of products, I have wanted to work for Pro-Align for a number of years so I am delighted the company has decided to expand and welcomed me on board,” explains Swettenham. Pro-Aligns appointment in Scotland and northern England will be a familiar face to many, having run his own garage equipment franchise across the region for the last five years. On his appointment, Graeme Neil says, “I’ve been thoroughly impressed since my arrival with the company’s high levels of attention to detail and customer care.” Covering the M62 corridor will be new sales executive Michael Connolly. “In my previous role many garages recommended the Hunter range of equipment sold by Pro-Align, so I am looking forward to being able to talk to customers about the range of quality products in great detail,” he explains. The final addition to Pro-Align’s team is telesales and administration support executive, Charlotte Jones. Having recently graduated from Bedfordshire University, Charlotte brings with her a wealth of experience from other administration and telesales roles. Pro-Align is the sole UK distributor for Hunter workshop equipment. The company is still independently owned, nearly 20 years after it was established. It now employs 29 people at its Northamptonshire headquarters and around the UK. “All of our new team members bring with them valuable experience and understanding of the market which we believe will help our customers enormously,” concludes Beaurain. Notes Pro-Align is one of the UK’s leading independent suppliers of wheel alignment and garage equipment. Its advanced systems are used by many vehicle manufacturers, franchised dealer groups, independent workshops, motorsport specialists and vehicle technology consultancies. Pro-Align is the sole UK distributor for the Hunter range of wheel aligners, balancers and tyre changers. In 2009, Pro-Align was received the NTDA’s TAFF Innovation award for its Hunter SmartWeight balancing system and was nominated again in 2010 for its Fully Integrated Alignment system.
