The West Swindon business referral group BNI Read is running a visitors day on Wednesday 24th July 2013 at the Hotel Campanile, Delta Business Park, Great Western Way, Swindon, SN5 7XG. They welcome businesses from across Swindon, but also from the surrounding area to come and see one of their meetings with the hope businesses will be impressed with the amount of business that is passed on the day between the members!

There is a minimal cost of £10 which covers; breakfast, refreshments & the venue has free parking. The meeting is from 7am – 9am but wise to get there early to grab a coffee and network with the other businesses.

The Read group in West Swindon is part of BNI which stands for Business Networking International. BNI is the oldest, biggest and most successful referral marketing organisation started over 28 years ago and has just under 700 groups across the UK.

Darren Crannis who runs the group says; “The main reason our group meets is to pass each other business referrals operating under the ‘Givers Gain’ principle. If you give me business I will want to give you business in return. Being part of BNI is like like having 20+ sales people working for you who constantly look for business opportunities for each other. To date the average seat in BNI nationally is worth over £24,000 in referral business.”

Another important aspect of the group is that they only have one business representing any one category. For example we only have one electrician and he gets all the electrical referrals.
