Redsense Medical today announces that the Company’s first sustainability report will be published on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.

The report is a voluntary initiative of Redsense to examine and shed light on the consequences of its operations throughout the value chain – socially, economically and environmentally – and give an account of the Company’s active efforts to contribute to sustainable development and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.

“Sustainability is the natural extension of our core mission, to increase patient safety. As a value-driven company, we are guided at all times by our vision to save lives, and it is essential for us to determine what our impact is in order to steer our course towards that goal,” says Patrik Byhmer, CEO of Redsense Medical AB.

The sustainability report will be available on Redsenses website, redsensemedical.com.

ABOUT REDSENSE MEDICAL

Redsense Medical is a corporate group with operations mainly in Europe and the United States. The company has developed the Redsense System, an innovationused for monitoring and alarm in the case of blood leakage in connection with a hemodialysis treatment. Redsense Medical solves one of the most serious remaining safety problems within hemodialysis – to quickly detect Venous Needle Dislodgement and catheter leakage to minimize blood leakage. The system consists of a patented fiber optic sensor, designed for either venous needle or central venous catheter, which is connected to an alarm unit. From the very start, the development of the company's technology has been based on the demands and safety requirements of healthcare providers in the dialysis sector.
