eLearning leaders Epic and Redware announce new partnership

Market leading learning technology companies Epic and Redware have today announced a landmark partnership which will see the integration of two highly acclaimed mobile learning products, changing the way mobile content is delivered for good.

The partnership between the two companies will provide an end-to-end solution for organisations looking to create powerful learning journeys. Using the GoMo Learning authoring tool, organisations can create meaningful multi-device and mobile learning content and then distribute it to large, complex networks using Redsource.

The integration will allow for SSO (Single Sign-On) between both products to allow for a seamless experience from creation to distribution and management of mobile content.

Two award-winning products, together

In 2012, both GoMo and Redsource picked up awards in the most innovative technology category at the eLearning Awards, with Redsource picking up gold and GoMo silver. Jonathan Satchell, Chief Executive of Epic comments:

"GoMo and Redsource are both exciting platforms with the potential to shape the way we learn on mobile devices. By bringing them together, we are creating an incredibly powerful and flexible solution for organisations looking to author and distribute content to multiple platforms and devices."

Fixing the issue of delivery

For those organisations interested in implementing mobile learning, the method of delivery has been a key consideration. From HTML5 to native applications, the options for publishing and delivering mobile apps are varied and sometimes complex. This partnership will remove that complexity by bringing a best-in-class authoring tool in line with a pure delivery platform focused on managing and deploying content and reporting on its effectiveness. André Wigley, CEO of Redware comments:

"When it comes to authoring content for mobile devices, GoMo is an extremely powerful tool, but the distribution of this content is often considered a side issue. By integrating with GoMo, we are highlighting the need for the very best in delivery, ensuring a quality end-user experience. This partnership is a really exciting one, bringing together two award-winning platforms to deliver what I think will be the best mobile learning experience out there on the market."

Gaining key user input

As part of their new partnership, Epic and Redware will launch a new mobile learning survey to assess the critical issues and needs of learning organisations. This short survey will close on the 1st July and the results will be shared via an exclusive report to all participants.

Learn more about the new partnership at the first-ever Learning Technologies Summer Forum on the 18th June, where Epic and Redware will be exhibiting at on stands 18 and 23, respectively.

ENDS.
