Redware ‘highly commended’ for Redsource project at the UK IT Awards.

Redware’s project Redsource has been given ‘highly commended’ for the UK Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award at the UK IT Awards 2013. 

The BCS & Computing UK IT Industry Awards are a platform for the entire profession to celebrate best practice and excellence in the sector. The UK Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award is one of the flagship categories of the award evening, celebrating new and innovative projects that are either still in production, or completed in the last 12 months. David Clarke, MBE, Group Chief Executive Officer of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, commented:

“Congratulations to all the winners and those who were highly commended in the 2013 awards. The Awards recognise the professionalism and innovation that exists in IT. The quality of applications we received this year was excellent, but the winners stood out as exceptional and inspiring, and should be very proud of their success.”

Redware were in the running for their work with Redsource, the Enterprise App Store and Mobile Application Management platform. Within just over a year of the product being released it is already being used as the mobile tool of choice in global brands and businesses. When announcing the category, the judging panel gave Redware the highly commended for the category.
