Regent Street, London W1 continues it’s glorious celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II with it’s spectacular display of purple and gold flags spanning the length of Regent Street to St James’s. A total of 189 purple flags featuring gold crowns creating a striking backdrop to this world famous shopping destination in London’s West End.

This month visitors can enjoy these flags without traffic every Sunday throughout July as part of the “Summer Streets” programme, in partnership with the Mayor of London. Visitors can relax and enjoy a creative programme of performances, fashion and installations, and participate in free exercise classes, games and sensory experiences. Summer Streets enhances the environment for shoppers and sightseers to enjoy this central location in the heart of the West End.
