THE GLAMOUR IS BACK - CELEBRATING THE GRAND OPENING OF THE REGENT ESPLANADE ZAGREB

ZAGREB, 22 November, 2004 … The magnificent landmark property The Regent Esplanade Zagreb celebrated its Grand Opening November 11. Dating back to 1925, the hotel is one of the most famous and gracious buildings in the capital of Croatia constructed for the travellers of The Orient Express. After extensive renovation the hotel is reopened as The Regent Esplanade Zagreb.

Renowned for its highly personalised and impeccable service, the hotel has now become a centre of Zagreb’s social life, counting numerous politicians, movie stars and musicians amongst its distinguished visitors. This Grand Opening event was announced the country’s best social event of the year by the national press. The theme for the Opening celebration was inspired by hotel’s rich history and it’s relationship with The Orient Express. Marc Fontanelle, the hotel’s Executive Chef and his team prepared more than 150 different exquisite dishes related to this theme. More than 200 people participated in organising this glamorous event.
