New area of expertise for solar cell technology at Rejlers
Rejlers is developing an area of expertise for solar cell technology. The strength of Rejlers' offer is that several business areas are involved and are working together across regional borders. Per Hederstedt, solar cell consultant within the Building Rejlers Sweden business area, has been commissioned to develop the area of expertise.
“We are currently a mix of consultants from the Building, Technology and Energy business areas within Rejlers Sweden. There is a good mix of knowledge of technical solutions, energy production and how construction planning works, but I am sure that the ICT and Infra business areas can also contribute,” says Per Hederstedt.
Per literally sees a bright future for the area of expertise. He views the knowledge to be found within Rejlers Energitjänster and Rejlers Embriq as an opportunity to link solar cells with smart grids to become a market leader in data collection within the energy field.
The rapid increase in energy production from renewable sources (solar, wind, etc.) is a challenge that the entire European electricity grid is facing. In Sweden, Svenska Kraftnät has plans to invest SEK 50 billion over the next ten years to create a stable grid that covers future needs. Rejlers will play its part in development of the next generation of software for grid companies. Renewable energy sources and new consumption patterns are necessary to resolve the environmental challenges facing the world.
