Peter Rejler won the award European CEO of the year

Peter Rejler won the honourable award European CEO of the year at the European CEO Award ceremony hosted by ACE (Association for Consultancy and Engineering) in London last night. This award recognises exceptional all-round leadership of consultancy and engineering businesses in Europe. The candidates have been assessed on financial performance, skills of innovation and creativity, leadership qualities, inspiring the workforce and contribution to the technical consultancy industry and society in general.

This is a real honour and I am very proud and humble receiving this award among all these amazing technical consultant companies in Europe and their fine leaders. This is also an acknowledgement for all employees at Rejlers, says Peter Rejler, Executive Chairman of the Board and former President and CEO at Rejlers.

The award recognises the remarkable work Peter has done in leading Rejlers, started by his grandfather, through significant growth from around 200 employees in 1999 to around 1500 in the Nordic region today. Leadership can be a hard thing to define. But while that may be true, the impact of a visionary Chief Executive is always clear. We are blessed with a wealth of excellent leadership across our industry and this award is well deserved, said Dr Nelson Ogunshakin OBE, the ACE Chief Executive, at the awards dinner.

At Rejlers AGM on 2 May 2012, Eva Nygren was appointed the new President and CEO, Peter Rejler was elected the new Executive Chairman of the Board.
