Rejlers acquires the structural engineering company SRT and strengthens division Buildings in Finland
Rejlers has acquired the structural engineering company SRT, specialized in demanding concrete and steel constructions. Recently, Rejlers also closed the acquisition of the architecture firm Arsatek. Through the company acquisitions, Rejlers broadens its services and accelerates its growth.
SRT has a broad customer base in Finland and is a strong outsourcing partner to concrete companies. Among other projects, SRT has participated in constructing the 14- and 16-floor Technopolis Towers in Kuopio, HKScans’ poultry facility at Rauma as well as the Valo Hotel in Helsinki city center. The company has almost 40 years of experience in the field and 26 employees at its offices in Kuopio and Järvenpää. SRT had a revenue of over 3 million euros in 2021 and shows solid profitability.
“Strong structural engineering expertise enhances our growth opportunities. SRT has an excellent reputation in the field. We are already a strong player in designing technical building systems and we see great potential in the buildings business,” says Mikko Vaahersalo, CEO, Rejlers Finland.
“We have specialized in structural engineering. Joining forces with Rejlers, we will be able to deliver more extensive projects to our customers and develop our operations,” comments Otto Oksman, CEO, SRT.
SRT will now become part of Rejlers' Buildings division in Finland. Approximately 200 of Rejlers' more than 1,000 experts in Finland work in assignments targeted to the construction sector throughout Finland. Rejler's knowledge of residential construction and demanding public real estate projects is particularly strong. SRT brings special competence in structural engineering to the whole. Rejlers has participated in the design of Helsinki central library Oodi, Turku University Hospital T3 and the Amurinlinna block in Tampere. Rejlers has recently appointed a new leader for the business in Finland; in the beginning of April, Asko Laune started as Vice President, Buildings, joining from Vahanen Talotekniikka.
Consolidation will take place as of 1 April 2022.
