Rejlers awarded EPC contract for major industry project in Finland
Rejlers Finland has received a significant EPC contract (engineering, procurement and construction) from Aurora Kilpilahti concerning the company’s new substation. Aurora Kilpilahti is an electricity network partner for the industry in Finland and the new substation is part of a large investment program to increase capacity and maintain high reliability of the electricity distribution in the Kilpilahti industrial area.
The contract includes designing and building the substation as well as installing all equipment, testing and ensuring it is ready for commissioning. Required cabling between the new substation and several substations in the existing network as well as modifications required for integrating the new substation to existing network is part of the contract. The project will launch immediately and will be completed in the spring of 2022.
