Rejlers helps Borealis accelerate sustainable transition
Rejlers has signed a 3-year framework agreement with Borealis in Stenungsund. The agreement covers a wide range of engineering, procurement and project management services that will contribute to Borealis' transformation projects during the period.
Borealis is a leading provider of innovative solutions in polyolefins and base chemicals. The company has ambitious sustainability goals and has collaborated with Rejlers for many years. The agreement covers various services, such as maintenance, studies, basic engineering, as well as EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) execution projects for Borealis’ facilities in Stenungsund, Sweden.
"We have been working with Borealis for several years and are now intensifying our partnership to continue to create value for a sustainable transformation. With our comprehensive offering, we can meet Borealis' needs, lead development forward and assist the company in its efforts to achieve its sustainability goals," says Irvin Muskic, Head of Chemical Industry and Refineries at Rejlers Sweden.
"As our products play an increasingly important role in the transition in society, it is a priority for us to accelerate our own transition. This includes further developing our production capacity to handle renewable materials, continuing to be at the forefront of the development towards a more sustainable and circular economy, and exploring new ways to increase efficiency and sustainability in our operations. In this work, our partnerships, for example with Rejlers, are important as they contribute their expertise to promote this development," says Louise Andersson, Technical Development & Engineering Manager at Borealis in Stenungsund.
