Rejlers Norway has acquired Omega Holtan, a technical consulting company specialising in electrical engineering and automation. The acquisition makes Rejlers one of the largest Norwegian advisory players within electrical engineering, automation, energy and climate.

Omega Holtan has 30 employees spread across the country and its headquarters in Tønsberg. The company has a turnover of just over NOK 40 million with good profitability. With the acquisition, Rejlers Norway is approaching 200 employees spread across 10 offices and has a total turnover for 2021 of NOK 240 million. With employees in several parts of the country, Rejlers will be able to offer clients a combination of solid expertise and local presence.

"The merger with Omega Holtan is a very good match, both in terms of business areas, competence, corporate culture and geography. We see significant synergies when Omega Holtan now becomes part of our company," says Petter Arnesen, CEO of Rejlers Norway.

Omega Holtan was founded in 1985 and the company is today owned by employees and former employees. Omega Holtan has collaborated with Rejlers on several assignments and has joint customers.

"Although Rejlers is significantly larger than Omega Holtan, we are culturally quite similar, which is an important factor for those of us who founded the business. When you see the significant changes that are taking place in the industry in the future, it is a good choice to be part of a larger context with opportunities to take responsibility for the most complex projects," says Tom Andersen, Chairman of the Board of Omega Holtan.

The acquisition of Omega Holtan is part of fulfilling Rejlers' growth plan for the Norwegian market. The company will become its own division within Rejlers Norway, with Ragnar Holtan as Head of Division.

"For our employees, becoming part of the Rejlers Group provides many new career opportunities. In a market with fierce competition for the most talented consultants, this is an important factor," says Ragnar Holtan, CEO of Omega-Holtan.

The company will be consolidated as of April 1, 2022.
