Rejlers receives renewed confidence from Aurora: signs EPC contract for new industrial project in Finland
Rejlers has signed a significant engineering, procurement and construction contract (EPC) with Aurora Kilpilahti concerning engineering, construction and testing of the new substation in the Kilpilahti area in Porvoo, Finland. The substation will expand and strengthen Aurora’s electricity network in the Kilpilahti business area, an important hub for circular economy in the Nordic region. The project is expected to be completed in spring 2025.
The agreement signed includes the electrical engineering of the transformer substation, the design and construction of the building itself, and all electrical equipment required for electricity distribution, installed, tested and ready for commissioning. In addition, Rejlers is responsible for construction site management and safety.
Aurora is a Finnish electricity network partner for the industry, who supports its customers on their paths towards fossil free and increasingly electrified production.
