Rejlers wins commission in the expansion of Sälenfjällen
As the Sälenfjällen ski resort expands its operations to incorporate new lift systems and accommodations, its power consumption is increasing. Malungs Elnät must therefore reinforce and expand the existing electricity network. Rejlers has been assigned the mission of preparing detailed designs for the new power lines in the land area.
Society as a whole now imposes high demands when it comes to the reliable and efficient distribution of electric power. The planned reinforcement of the electricity grid is intended to safeguard the electricity supply in Malung-Sälen Municipality and to allow for future expansions of lift systems and accommodations in Sälenfjällen, among other ventures.
The environmental aspect of these efforts is important in Rejlers’ work; the hope is to ensure a secure electricity supply without harming the environment. As part of the expansion of the electricity grid in Sälenfjällen, existing air ducts will be demolished. This benefits wildlife, especially birds.
“I’m proud that Malungs Elnät has chosen us as their partner in the expansion of Sälenfjällen! Rejlers’ broad expertise and extensive experience in the electric power sector has had a major impact on the choice of supplier. We have assembled a winning team with a wide range of expertise that will allow us to handle various technical issues involved in this challenging and exciting task,” says Jenny Edfast, Head of the Energy Division at Rejlers.
