Rejlers wins contract for Huddinge Samhällsfastigheter
Rejlers has entered into an agreement with Huddinge Samhällsfastigheter for the first phase of a planned large-scale energy project. The goal is to reduce energy consumption by at least 35 percent for the properties included in the agreement.
The municipally owned Huddinge Samhällsfastigheter AB owns and manages the majority of Huddinge's schools and preschools, retirement homes and sports facilities. Huddinge Samhällsfastigheter is now one of the first companies in Sweden to receive an EU grant to carry out a large-scale energy project.
The project, which is divided into two phases, project development and implementation of measures, comprises a total of approximately 110 of the company's more than 150 properties and is expected to continue until 2030. For the entire project, the goal is to reduce energy use by at least 30 percent, an ambitious but not unreasonable goal to achieve.
Rejlers is responsible for energy audits in sub-project 1 of the project development phase, which will begin in the spring and include mapping and identifying possible energy savings for the properties in the project. The aim is to reduce energy use by 35 percent and thereby reduce climate impact. Other goals in the project are to improve the indoor climate and work environment in the properties and adapt the properties for digital control and follow-up.
- We are pleased to be underway with the first energy audits for our energy project. Rejlers has established experience of mapping and developing feasible energy measures. We look forward to working with Rejlers to develop proposals for measures that will lead to energy-efficient properties, says Frida Gustafsson, Project Manager at Huddinge Samhällsfastigheter.
- We look forward to using our experience from large energy projects and turnkey contracts to help Huddinge Samhällsfastigheter achieve its goals in this significant community development project. The development phase is crucial for the entire project as it establishes the foundation for working methods and delivery levels. We are proud of the trust placed in us, says Katrine Lind, Project Manager and Business Area Manager at Rejlers Energy Projects.
