Rejlers wins major contract for the New Hospital area in Helsingborg
Rejlers wins contract as general consultant for expansion of the media supply for new hospital area in Helsingborg. Region Skåne will be renovating and expanding Helsingborg's hospital area over an eight-year period.
Among the many improvements will be a new building and modernisation of the existing main building. The car park will also be extended so that there will be enough room for everyone. The refurbishment will also provide light, inviting rooms, a new nursing ward with private rooms for all in-patients, an ultramodern neonatal ward and a surgical ward that meets all the needs of advanced care.
Rejlers Sweden has been commissioned as general consultant to be responsible for planning services when Region Skåne builds new media supplies for ongoing and future construction in the new hospital area in Helsingborg. The contract involves replanning the existing external supply systems, excluding water supply, sewage system and district heating and new systems for electricity, heating, ventilation and sanitation, cooling, acoustics, fire protection, fibre and medical gases. The existing technical building will be demolished and a new one constructed, along with a new high-voltage substation.
The contract also involves Rejlers Sweden supporting the client during the construction period and following up on all contractors. The assignment is expected to last for just over four years and is valued at MSEK 20.
