Rejlers wins new contract for Bane NOR

Rejlers has been commissioned to document high-voltage facilities on the railways throughout Eastern Norway, as part of Bane NOR's work to future-proof the rail network. The assignment applies to the entire Gjøvik line, the entire Østfold line, as well as parts of the Kongsvinger line, a distance of over 500 kilometres in total.

The work to document the facilities is important for Bane NOR, both to ensure that the applicable regulations are complied with and as it contributes to increased reliability and fewer errors.

Rejlers acquired KANtech, a railway technology consulting firm, just over a year ago. The strengthening of the infrastructure division has resulted in Rejlers now working on several major rail projects in Norway.

"KANtech's expertise in Norwegian railways, combined with our Swedish expertise in infrastructure, has given us many exciting assignments in the railway sector," says Petter Arnesen, CEO of Rejlers Norway.

The assignment in Eastern Norway was won through an existing framework agreement with Bane NOR and the work will extend over one year.
