Statnett has signed an agreement with a supply group of which Rejlers Embriq is a member. The agreement concerns the development and management of system solutions. Rejlers Embriq has been providing similar services to Statnett since 2016.

Balancing of the Nordic power system
“We are very pleased to be participating in this delivery to Statnett,” said Ritu Rampal, Director of Consulting at Rejlers Embriq AS. “We have been providing similar services to Statnett since 2016, and our highly capable developers and testers have helped Statnett with projects such as “fifty”, which is an important initiative to ensure the balancing of the Nordic power system,” says Rampal.

Elhub
“Going forward and as part of the new agreement, our consultants will also help Statnett on projects linked to Elhub, amongst other things,” said Rampal. Elhub is a central IT system which supports and streamlines market processes such as sales of electrical power, relocation, termination, etc. on the Norwegian power market. It also supports the distribution and aggregation of meter readings for all consumption and generation in Norway.

About the agreement
The agreement is between Statnett and Bouvet Norge AS, the prime supplier. Rejlers is part of a group of suppliers which are acting as subcontractors to Bouvet through this agreement. The agreement will have a duration of up to six years and is expected to be worth between NOK 1200 and 1500 million.
“This is a large and important agreement for Bouvet, which again shows our competitiveness. We feel very proud and humble to have been given this vote of confidence by Statnett, and look forward to continuing our very successful partnership,” said Sverre Hurum, CEO of Bouvet.
“We have considerable breadth in our competence, with several areas of delivery towards Statnett. It is very nice to be able to contribute with this type of competence to Statnett going forward, says Thomas Pettersen, CEO of Rejlers in Norway.
