Best Chefs and Restaurants Celebrate a Second Helping of Relish North East & Yorkshire at Wynyard Hall Hotel

Relish Publications, the UK's leading fine dining guide and recipe book publisher, has just launched its 24th publication, back where it all started six years ago - in the North East.

This latest edition - Relish North East & Yorkshire Second Helping, profiles over 30 highly acclaimed dining establishments, featuring the crème de la crème of the North East and Yorkshire’s restaurants.

The stellar list of chefs includes; renowned North East Restaurateur Terry Laybourne and his brand new ventures at the multi-million pound revamped Fenwick Food Hall, as well as big-hitting Michelin stars like James MacKenzie – Chef Proprietor of East Yorkshire’s The Pipe and Glass Inn and Kenny Atkinson – the Geordie chef whose Quayside restaurant House of Tides is now the proud owner of the only Michelin Star in Newcastle.

The book marks the milestone of 500 restaurants featured by Relish. Kenny Atkinson, who writes the foreword to this edition, comments: “We are all passionate about and proud of our area, our food and our service. The official book launch takes place this month at Wynyard Hall Hotel, on the outskirts of Durham in the Tees Valley, on the 25th January. It will be a celebration of all the venues involved, with executive teams, and owners of the Region’s leading restaurants attending.
