Second Helping of Relish Midlands launches at The Belfry Hotel & Resort

Relish Publications, the UK’s leading fine dining guide and recipe book publisher enjoyed a luxurious celebration launching their latest offering ‘Relish Midlands Second Helping’ at The Belfry Hotel & Resort on the 2nd November 2015. This collection of 20 fine dining establishments features the crème de la crème of The Midlands regional restaurants.

The afternoon launch was a celebration of all the restaurants, with executive teams, and owners of the leading restaurants in the Midlands attending a stylish celebration at The Belfry Hotel.

The stellar list of chefs featured in this book includes big-hitting Michelin stars like Adam Stokes of his eponymously-named restaurant, Adam’s, located in Bennetts Hill, Luke Tipping from Simpsons, Birmingham, and Adam Bennett from The Cross at Kenilworth. Adam Stokes who writes the Foreword to this edition, comments: “Relish Midlands Second Helping is a fantastic recipe book that brings together so many of the talented chefs and quality restaurants in the area. It gives a taste of what our exciting region has to offer and a peek into the culinary delights available, as well as the encouragement to try some new recipes.”

Duncan Peters, Publisher of Relish Publications stated: “When we published our first volume in the area three years ago, it was extremely well received as The Midlands has a proud and unique gastronomic reputation, with numerous hot spots, including Birmingham and Ludlow. Now we have made a return, this Second Helping of Relish Midlands celebrates all corners of the region, from East to West and covering all areas in between.

The Midlands offers such a diverse food scene, from street food to fine dining, and with Birmingham holding more Michelin stars than any other city outside of London, this latest compilation is set to be a spectacular edition to The Relish Series – promising to be a food lovers’ delight.”
