DONG Energy launches local liaison committee for REnescience Northwich
DONG Energy is seeking local representatives to join a liaison committee for its new bioresource facility, REnescience Northwich. Site preparation work for the facility is starting this month.
The committee will gather feedback and opinions from local residents and provide information to the community during construction, through commissioning and into the facility’s operational phase. It will meet on a regular basis with the aim of ensuring the project proceeds with minimal impact and disruption to the local community.
Flemming Kanstrup, DONG Energy, said:
“We know there is a great deal of interest in REnescience Northwich and the technology involved. We hope that people are keen to join the committee and take an active role in ensuring the smooth roll out of the project.
“We expect construction work to cause minimal disruption and we are committed to maintaining regular communication with residents and businesses to answer any questions, listen to their feedback and keep them informed of progress.”
Places on the committee are limited and DONG Energy would like to ensure that all areas of interest are represented. Those interested in joining are asked to email northwich@dongenergy.co.uk or write to DONG Energy, c/o Coast Communications, Unit 5, Briston Orchard, St Mellion, Saltash, PL12 6RQ, explaining why they are interested in joining the committee and which organisation or group they will be representing.
The deadline for responses is Friday 11 March 2016 and the first meeting will take place shortly afterwards.
