Wind power company Renewable listed on AktieTorget On Monday 13 August 2001 the Malmö company Renewable Energy in Sweden AB (publ) will be listed on AktieTorget. For the first time in Sweden, shares in a wind power company will become available to the general public on this date. Renewable plans, sells and manages its own wind power plants in Sweden as well as internationally. Renewable represents a new line of business for Swedish conditions and trading with green electricity is anticipated to expand a great deal in the coming decade. The company has signed seven agreements for sales of wind power projects in Sweden and Poland at a total value of over 50 million SEK. Furthermore, Renewable has signed an agreement of cooperation on the Swedish market at a calculated value of around 7 million SEK. All of these ventures are estimated to be completed during 2001 and 2002.
