RES Software Awarded Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Supplier Status
Confirms focus and commitment to delivery of solutions that are flexible and responsive to demand from UK Public Sector
London, UK, 6th May 2014 –RES Software has today announced it has been awarded Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supplier status on the G-Cloud Services IV framework for the supply of its proactive and secure automation software solutions.
The CCS is playing a vital role in helping to protect frontline services by delivering significant and sustainable cost savings through its commercial activity and aggregated procurement arrangements.
“The G-Cloud Service IV status agreement supports the Government’s policy to centrally manage the procurement of common goods and services through an integrated procurement function at the heart of government,” states Mark Pooley, Sales Director UK & Ireland, RES Software.
Using this agreement will help CCS deliver savings for the public sector and the taxpayer by aggregating spend to drive best value. The agreement is fully EU compliant, saving customers the time and money associated with conducting their own procurement exercise.
Through the competitive tender process and regular benchmarking, CCS ensures customers have access to the most competitive deals. Suppliers are carefully evaluated during the tender process and pre-agreed terms and conditions offer customers sound contractual safeguards.
