RES Workspace Virtualization Suite implemented by the second-largest staffing organisation in the world 

London, UK, 7th October, 2013 – Workspace virtualisation leader RES Software has announced that Randstad, a multinational human resources consulting firm, has chosen the RES Workspace Virtualization Suite for their IT enterprise. With operations in over 40 countries, Randstad will use RES solutions within their IT headquarters in Belgium. By providing users with easy self-servicing, fast delivery, greater productivity, and a superior IT experience overall, RES Software’s Workspace Virtualization Suite standardises Randstad’s IT environment.

Within RES Software’s Workspace Virtualization Suite, Randstad’s IT department will deploy RES Workspace Manager and RES Automation Manager. The RES Workspace Virtualization Suite will allow Randstad simplified management of users, greater context awareness, heightened security, and improved service desk operations. Due to Randstad’s large corporate environment, manual configurations of users’ IT environments are accompanied with nuances such as security, background, proxy and preferences. With the RES Workspace Manager platform, Randstad will be able to reduce simple IT helpdesk calls by 30% and prevent desktop related tickets by 40%, making their IT staff much more productive.

The standardisation across Randstad’s IT environment will bolster security while concurrently remaining flexible for the end-user, providing them with a personalised desktop that is also centrally maintained.
