Resco and SandellSandberg sign Letter of Intent: Resco and SandellSandberg are to combine their strengths within communication, business systems and technology Resco AB and the communication bureau, SandellSandberg, are signing a Letter of Intent regarding a merger. Resco, which has 440 staff, and SandellSandberg with 48 staff will together offer a unique combination of expertise within communication, business systems and technology. In 98/99, SandellSandberg reported sales of SEK 53.8M, (bureau income of SEK 32M) and a profit of SEK 11.3M. Payment will be made with 525,000 newly-issued Resco shares. The deal will affect Resco's result positively in the year 2000. Final agreement is expected to be signed in April. The deal is subject to customary due diligence and the approval of the Annual General Meeting. With the deal, the merged companies will consist of nearly 500 individuals with spearhead expertise in system integration, business systems, business development, market communication and design. "SandellSandberg has a broader view on communication than traditional advertising agencies.
