Resurs recruits a business-driven Sustainability Manager at the Nordic level
Resurs recruits a Nordic Sustainability Manager with the assignment of driving and developing the Group’s Nordic sustainability agenda. Henrik Linder, who most recently worked for Save the Children, will take office in January 2021. Alongside its focus on sustainable credit lending, Resurs’ sights are set on creating a sustainability agenda that also increases competition and strengthens the brand.
- The recruitment of Henrik Linder is one of several strategic aspects of Resurs’ recently undertaken transformation journey that will strengthen our competitiveness and growth. The aim is to adopt an even clearer focus on sustainable credit lending as a part of our efforts to inspire more companies to commit to promoting a society in which people have balanced finances. We also aim to develop our efforts to integrate a sustainable perspective in our business, with the goal of creating value for our customers, partners and employees, says Nils Carlsson, CEO of Resurs Holding.
Henrik Linder most recently worked for Save the Children’s consultancy division Child Rights & Business. An important aspect of his assignment will be developing efforts to ensure that a sustainable perspective is integrated and permeates all of Resurs’ operational areas and processes.
- It feels wonderful and I am very proud of taking on this assignment to lead and develop Resurs’ sustainability agenda. I am looking forward to realising the potential that I see that the company has in creating sustainability that can help strengthen Resurs’ business at the Nordic level. The aim is also to clearly contribute in developing the industry in which we operate. My background of studies in economics and business combined with my many years of practical sustainability work at companies in various contexts provides me with valuable and important experience, says Henrik Linder.
- We welcome Henrik Linder to Resurs and can see that his expertise with business-driven sustainability efforts and strong representation of sustainability topics will provide us with a fantastic opportunity to further strengthen Resurs’ confidence and brand as a company committed to sustainability with a focus on sustainable credit lending, says Eva Brike, CHRO & Sustainability Director, Resurs.
