SCC goes for Gold with Polycom’s market leading video conferencing technologies
SCC, Europe’s largest independent technology solutions provider, has achieved the highest Gold level certification from the video conferencing (VC) technology infrastructure market leader, Polycom. Through investing in its partnership with Polycom, SCC is responding to the golden opportunity to help customers generate significant cost savings through adopting best of breed video conferencing technologies.
The VC market leader, Polycom’s cost effective and high quality solutions are designed to integrate with best of breed software and mobile technologies. Its solutions are accessible and designed to meet market need for future proofed virtual communications that are firmly aligned to business success and the removal of customer pain points.
SCC’s visual communications expertise includes design, deployment, integration and management of end-to-end audio visual projects underpinned by more than a decade of customer experience. SCC will be Polycom’s first partner to provide the widest range of Unified Communications for competitive advantage and will provide AV solutions that increase productivity, removing unnecessary travel cost and reduce carbon footprint.
Rob Officer, video conferencing solutions manager, explains:
“Polycom has a whole new approach to developing its market for video conferencing infrastructure which takes advantage of the trend towards unified communications whereby employees have become accustomed to being part of an ‘always-on’ perpetually connected culture. The ability of an organisation to rapidly adopt emerging technologies like video conferencing is a real expectation.
“Today’s AV solutions are a far cry from those of old because they are cheaper, more reliable and offer a high definition experience. There is a clear and present need for organisations to revisit a solution that is demonstrably delivering significant cost savings with clients typically experiencing a return on their investment within 12 months when compared to the price of funding physical travel.”
Polycom’s Gold level certification is a key part of the AV market leader’s channel strategy to differentiate those partners qualified to help its customer achieve productivity breakthroughs and a more agile business. Through achieving this accreditation, SCC has made significant investment in sales and engineering training in Polycom’s VC solutions.
