Martin Creydt, Area Vice President Scandinavia, will leave The Rezidor Hotel Group and face
new challenges outside the company as from August 2007 on. On an interim basis and with immediate effect, the Scandinavian management will report directly to Thorsten Kirschke, COO & Senior Vice President of Rezidor.

In the Nordics, Rezidor will strengthen the position of its core brand Radisson SAS – a “new breed” hotel was recently opened in Fredrikstad/Norway – and accelerate the growth of its young mid market brand Park Inn. Future projects include the Park Inn Hammarby Sjostad (to open in 2009) and the Park Inn Congress Centre in the heart of Stockholm, which will welcome the first guests in 2010 as the largest and most modern conference venue in the city.

“Thorsten Kirschke is one of our most energetic and experienced managers”, comments Kurt Ritter, President & CEO of The Rezidor Hotel Group, “he has an extensive background in the Scandinavian and international hospitality industry.” Prior to his appointment as COO he was Area Vice President Central Europe. Martin Creydt’s successor as Area Vice President Scandinavia will be announced shortly.

The Rezidor Hotel Group is one of the fastest growing hotel companies worldwide. Besides strategic development in home markets like Scandinavia, Rezidor concentrates on emerging regions such as the Middle East, Russia and the CIS. With 23 hotels in operation and under development in Russia and the CIS, the group is the leading international player in these markets and will further extend this position.
