Rezidor to open a new Park Inn in Nürnberg

The Rezidor Hotel Group has signed a leasing contract for a new Park Inn hotel in Nürnberg, Germany. Formerly known as the Concorde Hotel Viva and centrally located downtown at the border of the historic Old Town, the property will be closed for three months for a complete renovation to the Park Inn standards. The brand is promising a young and fresh image, an easy-going atmosphere and very simply “the best sleep in town”. The re-opening of the 152-room hotel is scheduled for autumn 2007.

The Park Inn portfolio in Germany currently comprises 12 hotels – amongst them the flagship Park Inn Berlin-Alexanderplatz with 1006 rooms. Nürnberg is the second largest city of Bavaria, one of the fastest growing trade fair locations in Europe and an important conference and congress venue.
