Rhenman Healthcare Equity L/S awarded two prizes at Nordic Hedge Awards

Best Nordic Equity Focused Hedge Fund 2014 and Best Performing Nordic Hedge Fund 2014

Since inception in June 2009, the Fund has returned a total of +349%, which translates to 30% annualised

The Rhenman Healthcare Equity L/S, which invests in listed companies primarily in pharmaceuticals, medical technology, biotechnology and services, was awarded Best Nordic Equity Focused Hedge Fund 2014 and Best Performing Nordic Hedge Fund 2014 at the Annual Nordic Hedge Awards 2014, which is held to commend fund excellence in the Nordic hedge fund industry.

Since inception in June 2009, the fund has returned +349% net of fees. The annual returns of 2013 and 2014 were +55% and +43% respectively.

“We have initiated a soft-close procedure and expect to soft close the fund in October 2015. Existing shareholders can top-up and redeem on a monthly basis until fund AUM reaches EUR 1bn. Thereafter no additional investments will be allowed. Currently AUM stands at EUR 530m”, said Grevelius.
