RICHARD MILLE OFFICIAL TIMEKEEPER OF POLO CLUB SAINT-TROPEZ
For the second year, Richard Mille is proud to be celebrating the title of the Official Timekeeper to the Polo Club Saint-Tropez; a magnificent 30 hectare-green setting nestled between Saint-Tropez and Pampelonne in the South of France. The partnership is based on the values of excellence, prestige and exclusivity that both Richard Mille and the Polo Club Saint-Tropez Polo Club share.
Polo Club Saint Tropez has recently announced the new association of Mr Alshair Fyaz, SCA Haras de Gassin and Corine Schuler, Founder of Polo Club Saint Tropez. Together they have begun the new development of Polo Club Saint Tropez, enhancing the Club’s beautiful grounds into new and modern facilities, which will incorporate new housing, stables and state of the art Tifton playing fields.
For the 2014 Summer season the club hosts 6 international tournaments with several of the highest ranked teams competing in a variety of handicap levels throughout the polo season starting from June until Mid-September.
Richard Mille will have an official presence at the Club’s major tournaments this year - The International Polo Cup Saint-Tropez (3rd July – 13th July) whose finalist will contend for the prestigious ‘Richard Mille Cup’, The Polo Masters – Open de Gassin (17th – 27th July) which is the summer destination for the famous Polo Masters Tour and the Côte d’Azur Polo Cup (7th – 17th August).
The polo Masters Tour is an exciting addition to the Saint Tropez Polo club Calendar. The International teams have competed over the winter in Val D’Isere, Megeve and Courchevel and the tour has included the summer game in the stunning setting of the St Tropez polo Club. The final weekend will be an exhibition of sport, festivals and elegance. The programme will include a Ladies’ day, showcasing the elegance and skill of ladies polo in an exhibition match. Beautiful vintage cars will also be on display and a fashion show will also be a spectacle of the weekend.
To honour the second year of the successful partnership Richard Mille is pleased to announce the RM 030 Polo de Saint- Tropez, a limited edition of 50 timepieces available from July at Polo Club Saint-Tropez and official Richard Mille Boutiques in Europe and the Middle East (Paris, Geneva, London, Dubai, Abu Dhabi).
The RM 030 Polo de Saint-Tropez comes in a ceramic ATZ bezel and caseback and a grade 5 titanium caseband. Details in case and dial take their inspiration from the colours of the Polo Club Saint-Tropez logo, navy blue and white. The Polo Club’s logo is engraved on the rear sapphire glass completing the exquisite finishing of this timepiece which comes fitted with a grey rubber strap and titanium buckle.

RICHARD MILLE, CHRONOMETREUR OFFICIEL DU POLO CLUB DE SAINT-TROPEZ
Richard Mille est pour la deuxième année consécutive Chronométreur Officiel du Polo Club de Saint-Tropez, magnifique écrin de verdure de 30 hectares dans le Sud de la France entre Saint-Tropez et les plages de Pampelonne. Ce partenariat est né des valeurs d’excellence et de prestige que partagent le Polo Club et la maison Richard Mille.
Le Polo Club de Saint-Tropez a récemment annoncé la nouvelle association de M. Alshair Fiyaz à la SCA Haras de Gassin représentée depuis 1998 par sa Présidente, Corinne Schuler, Fondatrice du Polo Club de Saint-Tropez. Ensemble, ils ont engagé le nouveau développement du Polo Club, en métamorphosant le domaine avec des installations plus modernes qui comprendront un nouvel espace hébergement, des écuries tandis que les terrains seront dès la saison prochaine tous en Tifton.
Durant la saison 2014 le Polo Club de Saint-Tropez, accueille de mi-juin à mi-septembre 6 tournois internationaux avec des équipes de renommée mondiale et des joueurs de différents niveaux de handicap.
Richard Mille sera présent pendant les tournois majeurs du Club : l’International Polo Cup de Saint-Tropez du 3 au 13 juillet dont les finalistes concourront pour le trophée Richard Mille ; le Polo Master / Open de Gassin du 17 au 27 juillet, la Côte d’Azur Polo Cup du 7 au 17 août.
Le Polo Masters est un tournoi passionnant qui s’inscrit dans le calendrier du Polo Club de Saint-Tropez. Les équipes internationales, concourant déjà pour la saison hivernale à Val-d’Isère, Megève et Courchevel, verront désormais ce tour inscrit dans la saison estivale dans le cadre exceptionnel du Polo Club de Saint-Tropez. Le programme du week-end de clôture, véritable ode au sport à l’élégance, inclura un jour exclusivement dédié aux femmes, qui trouveront là l’opportunité de démontrer leur distinction et leur habileté lors d’un match d’exhibition. Une exposition de voitures d’époque et un défilé de haute Couture viendront agrémenter le spectacle du week-end.
Pour célébrer cette deuxième année de partenariat, Richard Mille présentera la RM 030 Polo de Saint-Tropez, édition limitée de 50 pièces disponible à partir du mois de juillet au Polo Club de Saint-Tropez et au sein des boutiques Richard Mille en Europe et au Moyen-Orient (Paris, Genève, Londres, Dubaï, Abu Dhabi).
La lunette et le fond de la RM 030 Polo de Saint-Tropez ont été traités en céramique blanche ATZ tandis que la carrure est en titane grade 5. Le boîtier et le cadran arborent les couleurs du logo du Polo Club, blanc et bleu marine. Le logo du Polo Club gravé sur le verre saphir au dos de la montre, le bracelet en caoutchouc gris et le fermoir en titane contribuent à affirmer le caractère unique de cette montre.
