On Sunday 9th June, Rafael Nadal entered legendary status in the world of tennis! He is the first player ever to win 8 times the same Grand Slam tournament.
2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 ! A 6-3, 6-2, 6-3 victory in Paris over his fellow countryman, David Ferrer, in the final of the French Open saw Nadal become the first man ever to win the same Grand Slam title eight times and increased his stunning record to 59 victories. Rafa’s 12th major title moves him above Bjorn Borg and his 11 career titles.
