Plant Engineering Magazine selects LED, HID and CFL fixture as finalist

The SXPJ series of lighting fixtures offers a copper-free cast aluminum housing suitable for use in offshore rigs, land drilling rigs, oil and gas production, industrial manufacturing, wastewater treatment plants, or other areas where hazardous gases, dust, and fibers are present. They are also rated for marine and heavy hose-down environments where salt spray and corrosive chemicals may be a factor. The wireless electromechanical connection allows for quick, safe installation and maintenance.

The lighting fixtures are available with 100 W LED, HID or CFL lamping in multiple wattages and external stainless steel hardware.

     The SXPJ series meets the following standards and approvals:

  • Class I Division 1, Groups C & D
  • Class I, Zone 1, Groups IIA & IIB
  • Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F & G (except trunnion mount)
  • UL 844, 1598, 1598A & 8750
  • Factory Sealed
  • NEMA Type 4X, IP66
  • LED Version Tested to IESNA LM79 & LM80 standards
