Rikshem presented its interim report for January–September 2019 today. Profit before tax amounted to MSEK 1,937 (1,873). Rental income increased 5.6 percent to MSEK 2,187 (2,071). The value of the property portfolio, including Rikshem’s share of joint ventures, increased and now exceeds SEK 50 billion.

“Net operating income for the period increased 3.2 percent compared with the year-earlier period. We were able to generate favorable earnings thanks to the full-year effects of new construction, investments enabling rents to be raised in our properties, and the effects of acquisitions in the preceding year. Although a good deal of progress has been achieved with respect to more proactive property management, we still have considerable work to do in order to reduce acute damage and achieve more long-term, sustainable property management. I look forward to leading Rikshem with a focus on continuity and continued strong performance for the immediate future,” says Per Uhlén, acting CEO of Rikshem.

  • Rental income for the like-for-like portfolio rose 4.3 percent (3.8)
  • Net operating income totaled MSEK 1,221 (1,183)
  • Net operating income for the like-for-like portfolio rose 1.1%
  • Income from property management amounted to MSEK 915 (787)
  • Profit for the period totaled MSEK 1,564 (1,650)
  • The value of the property portfolio increased to MSEK 48,198 (45,687)
  • The change in value of the properties was MSEK 1,312 (1,126)
  • The total return for the rolling 12-month period was 8.3 percent (8.4)
