Leading Apparel Design Company Unveils One-of-a-Kind Fashion Line

For immediate release: October 11, 2010 – Project Iris (www.projectirisclothing.com) announces the launch of its inaugural line of women’s fashion apparel and online store to coincide with World Food Day with additional distribution coming to retailers throughout the United States later this month.

Made responsibly in the USA, Project Iris combines stunning graphics and amazing fabrics with the latest women’s fashion styles.  The introductory line consists of burnout shirts, v-necks and scoop necks in long and short sleeve styles.

“As a leading fashion apparel company, our talented design team has invested themselves deeply in the creation of the designs for Project Iris. We have produced a line of tasteful and original designs that should be immediately familiar yet different from what is currently available in the market”, said President  & CEO Neil Hoynes.

Combining style with substance, Project Iris has partnered with World Food Program USA (www.wpf.org), the world’s largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide.  A portion of each Project Iris sale will provide nourishing meals for new mothers and their children in the most poverty-stricken parts of the world.  Caitlin Masters of World Food Program USA states that, “No issue is more urgent, or more foundational to other development goals, than getting maternal and child nutrition. The support from private business, such as Project Iris, to provide financial backing for this specific cause is vital to providing the necessary aid.”

“World Food Program USA is an outstanding organization and we are excited to be working with them to help end world hunger.  To honor our pledge to this cause, we have made an initial contribution that will provide meals to more than 12,000 people”, said Mr. Hoynes.
