ContextVision and AMRA Medical join forces to improve liver disease diagnostics
ContextVision, a leader in medical imaging software, has entered a new research collaboration with AMRA Medical to develop advanced diagnostic tools for fatty liver disease (MASLD), a condition affecting up to a quarter of the global population.
The partnership combines ContextVision’s expertise in AI-powered ultrasound imaging with AMRA’s MRI-based body composition technology. Together, the companies aim to create a new, non-invasive method to detect and monitor the progression of liver disease at an early stage.
AMRA Medical now joins this effort by adding their MRI-based analysis for measuring liver fat (PDFF), abdominal fat volumes, and detailed muscle assessment. Their contribution will further enrich the dataset by enabling correlations between MRI and ultrasound imaging biomarkers – strengthening ContextVision’s development of disease staging solutions.
