Bridge launches cover for boutique B&Bs

AS the staycation trend continues to rise in the UK, Bridge Insurance Brokers Limited is launching Hospitality, a new insurance scheme for boutique B&Bs.

Hospitality offers exclusive insurance for B&Bs and guesthouses with 3, 4 and 5 star or Rosette ratings.

Bridge has partnered with Brit Insurance to develop a policy which is specific to the needs of a boutique B&B. Cover can be tailored for each business and includes benefits such as revenue protection cover of up to £500,000 over 24 months, seasonal stock increase, public and products liability cover up to £5 million and a 24-hour free legal advice line.

Head of Schemes Development at Bridge, Jason Wootton, said: “From speaking to our customers, identified a real need for bespoke cover for high end B&Bs. Proprietors of high-end establishments need enhanced protection and cover and we’ve ensured Hospitality provides this. 

“A recent survey revealed 40% of British people took their main holiday in the UK in 2011* and this trend is set to increase. Hospitality is aimed at proprietors who want to take advantage of growing market and the increase in demand for customer focused, boutique B&Bs.”

Bridge has launched a dedicated website www.bridgehospitality.co.uk to promote the scheme on a national scale.
