Equilibrium grows graduate scheme with marketing appointment

Equilibrium Asset Management is developing its marketing department with the appointment of Niall Sweeney as Marketing Assistant.

Manchester Metropolitan University graduate, Niall, 22, recently completed a degree in Business Management with Marketing and will be responsible for producing external communications, implementing social media strategies and co-ordinating Equilibrium’s extensive seminar programme.

Niall’s appointment is part of Equilibrium’s on-going partnership with MMUBS. Last year the firm took on a marketing intern from the university and is committed to supporting Manchester graduates developing a career in the professional sector.

Niall said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the Equilibrium team; this role has diverse responsibilities, helping me to develop a wide range of skills on top of my background in marketing. I’ve been really impressed by the ethical stance Equilibrium takes to investments and the vitality the firm has.”

Equilibrium’s marketing department is overseen by Partner Debbie Jukes, Debbie commented: “As Equilibrium continues to grow we are investing more time and resources into our marketing department. We’re planning to expand into new areas and realise the importance of a strong marketing strategy to help drive this growth. We have been impressed by the high calibre of MMUBS graduates and are looking forward to Niall’s input in our plans.”

Outside of work Didsbury-based Niall is an avid American Football fan; he plays for the Manchester Titans and is the founder and coach of MMU’s Eagle American Football team.
