Equilibrium strengths client management team
Press release
24 April 2012
Equilibrium Asset Management has made two new appointments in its client management team.
Andrew Hirst has been appointed as Chartered Financial Planner, moving from PKF Financial Planning, and Lucas Jones joins from Honister Capital as Client Manager.
The new appointments follow Equilibrium’s announcement of surpassing the milestone of £200 million worth of assets under its management and the recent opening of a Knutsford office.
Hirst, (42) from Wirral, will be working from the new Knutsford office and the head office in Wilmslow, serving clients in the local areas as well as developing Equilibrium’s connections with regional professionals. Hirst will be helping to build Equilibrium’s seminar programme providing advice and insight on pensions, investments, intergenerational financial planning and inheritance tax strategies.
He commented: “I’m looking forward to helping to continue to build Equilibrium’s client base. It’s a company with its finger on the pulse and is already ahead of the game, compared to others in the financial services, when it comes to industry regulations such as the Retail Distribution Review (RDR). I was impressed by the customer agreed remuneration model the company uses instead of commission-based fees.”
Jones, (38) from Whaley Bridge, has been tasked with managing clients and supporting the advisory team. He is also a qualified chartered financial planner and member of the Personal Finance Society.
He said: “Equilibrium has an excellent client proposition where the client’s needs come first and foremost. By basing annual fees on the percentage of assets under influence means Equilibrium’s interest are always aligned with our clients.”
In their spare time Andrew plays in a rock band and Lucas is a keen fell runner and triathlon competitor.
Equilibrium provides its clients with bespoke wealth management services ranging from pension planning, stocks and shares and inheritance management.
