HURST wins prestigious new account
NORTH WEST accountancy firm HURST has cooked up a great deal after winning the account for cookware giant Meyer Group Ltd.
The firm, which has offices in Manchester, Stockport and London, will provide audit and tax services as well as advising the Wirral headquartered business on acquisitions.
The cookware business has a number of acquisition targets planned for the next 12 months.
Andrew Milnes, business services partner at HURST, will head up the account.
The latest client win tops a record year for the firm which has seen it win 53 new clients, grow turnover to over £4m and named finalist in The British Accountancy Awards 2011.
Meyer factories produce more than 30 million pans annually and have become world leaders in manufacturing cookware. The business works with affiliates across the globe. Established in 1971, the group employs more than 5,000 people.
