Townscape create Jubilee planters for Wrentham

THE village streets of Wrentham have a lasting memory of the Jubilee thanks to flower-filled planters supplied by Townscape Products Limited.

Wrentham Parish Council commissioned street furniture manufacturer Townscape to create six new planters which will honour the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the passing of the Olympic Torch relay through the village.

Townscape developed the commemorative planters out of arctic black and white aggregate and included special black bands with golden lettering.

David Reeves, Parish Council Chairman, said: “2012 is a special year with her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee and the London 2012 games and we wanted to create a lasting reminder in the village.

“The commemorative planters from Townscape are perfect and since their installation we’ve had lots of positive comments on how well they look. It was wonderful to see the village streets look so vibrant when the Olympic Torch relay passed through.”
