Polarn O. Pyret
In October 2007, the Board of Directors of RNB decided to implement an inquiry into the potential for distributing the shares in the subsidiary Polarn O. Pyret to the shareholders, in accordance with Sweden’s Lex Asea rules, and in this connection to list Polarn O. Pyret on the OMX Nordic Exchange.

After having evaluated the market’s attitude to such a spinoff and listing of Polarn O. Pyret, and the operational advantages that would result from an increased focus on and separate listing of the subsidiary, the Board, after evaluating all of the considerations, has arrived at the overall conclusion that the best solution would be to withdraw the proposal to spin off and separately list Polarn O. Pyret.
