Report this content

The agreement in principle announced on 9 December 2008 on the sale of land and buildings at the discontinued Utansjö Bruk AB to Utansjöverken AB, a company affiliated with Domsjö Fabriker, has now resulted in an agreement. This means that ownership will be transferred to Utansjöverken AB on 31 December 2008.

Domsjö Fabriker intends to use part of the area for pulp wood processing and also plans to further develop the industrial accommodation operations begun in the area by Rottneros.

The sale of land and buildings will have a positive impact on Rottneros’ profits. The exact size of the impact will be specified, at the latest, in connection with the next quarterly report to be published on 3 February 2009.
