Introducing Cloud Solution for Publishing
IFRA EXPO 2010, HAMBURG, GERMANY: Roxen Editorial Portal, REP, is a web-based editorial solution designed for true multichannel publishing. REP-as-a-Service has all the advantages of the web-based REP but also offers the benefits of a cloud solution in terms of cost-effectiveness and flexibility.
– We offer cost-effective and rapidly deployed editorial solutions, says Roxen CEO Per Östlund. Our customers avoid investments and pay only for actual usage. This makes the solution attractive not only to new businesses, but also provides distinct advantages in situations where an existing legacy system is already in use but a specific task, like a new publication, needs to be rolled out quickly.
Roxen Editorial Portal brings seamless integration between print and a multitude of digital channels. Layout-driven editing lets the user preview story templates in his or her web browser while writing, displaying a complete pre-view including images, paragraph and character styles as well as line and column breaks.
– A user will be productive within hours from being introduced to REP, says Roxen CEO Per Östlund, and with REP-as-a-Service the threshold is lowered even more. Hardware, maintenance and upgrades are included in the price. Deployment time is kept at a minimum.
REP-as-a-Service utilizes industry-standard Amazon EC2, ensuring a high level of security and the choice of several enterprise data centers globally.
