WRIGHT MAN FOR THE JOB AT RUSSELL SCANLAN

Russell Scanlan has announced that Claims specialist, Steve Wright, is to join the team at the Nottingham head office.

Steve will develop a new Claims Department for the business to manage increased levels of customer service as the business continues to grow. Russell Scanlan is now Nottingham's largest independent insurance broker and risk manager – its association with the city stretches back over 130 years to 1881.

We build very close relationships with our clients, our reputation stands and falls on that approach. As the business expands we need key people to come on board that can help us maintain and build those relationships – it’s what sets us apart from competitors, national brands, that cannot operate at that level. Steve was previously at Gallaghers in Derby and has worked in the industry for over 15 years, specialising in Claims Management: “The move to Russell Scanlan was an easy choice to make – they are well known in the industry for a very focused approach to client management and as a business that rarely takes its eye off the ball. Developing a dedicated claim department is indicative of that. I’m looking forward to the challenge of the role and what lies ahead.”

Russell Scanlan was established in Nottingham in 1881 by Patrick Scanlan, where it has been based ever since. The company’s Nottingham office is located on Wellington Circus in the City centre. Over the years, Russell Scanlan has developed and prospered, and following a successful management buy out in 2007, it expanded into Leicester, opening an office two years later on the outskirts of the City in the Desford area.
